تقدم الجمعية اليابانية لتطوير العلوم JSPS منحاً قصيرة الأجل للباحثين الحاصلين على الدكتوراه لاجراء ابحاثهم من خلال برنامج (overseas Fellowship Division) على النحو التالى :

Summer program ?for pre/ postdoctoral Researchers (2 monthes in summer).
:Postdoctoral Fellowships for young researchers
• Short term --1 to 2 months
• Standard --12 to 24 months
• Pathway to university positions in Japan --12 to 24 months
: Invitation Fellowships for Mid-career, senior and Eminent Researchers
• Short Term --7 to 30 days
• Short Term -- 14 to 60 days
• Long Term -- 2 to 10 months
